Easter Mae White Anderson was born to Joe White, Sr., and Mandy Austin White on Feb. 8, 1939, in Capps, Fla. Easter's parents, husband, Cleveland "Chebbie" Anderson, infant son and siblings, Joe White, Jr., Clarence White, John Henry White, Harold Brockman, all preceded her to Glory.
Easter grew up in the Capps Community and she attended schools in Monticello, Fla. She confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized by Rev. Simpkins and joined Mr. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, where she served faithfully for many years, until her health failed.
On Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025, the Lord called Mother Easter Mae White Anderson home to live with her Lord. Her love and legacy will live on forever in the hearts of her sister, Mother Esther White Graham; stepdaughters, Iris and Keshia Parrish; godchildren, Carol (Rev. Jeffery) Graham, Terry Brown and Timothy Robinson; three grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Bernice Fields; a caring niece, Jennifer Harris; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Public viewing and visitation will be held 3 p.m. until 6 p.m on Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, at GRACE Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. (2758 Coastal Highway; Crawfordville, Fla.) and from 9 a.m. until 9:50 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Mt. Pleasant Ministries of Capps (9472 S. Jefferson Highway; Monticello, Fla). Homegoing Celebration Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, at Mt. Pleasant Ministries of Capps. Committal Services and Interment will follow immediately after the funeral at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Capps, Fla., Pastor Charles Smith, Eulogist.
