Ebony, you were one of my first friends in this life! As children we were very close.. I still remember us going to see Coming to America when it came out.. we were so little! Trying to dance to Push it in the fourth grade for a talent show and the principal was like .. NO! Your mom coming to pick me up so i didn´t miss your birthday party, is walking from East Orange to Montclair and back when you moved just so we didn´t lose our connection .. love you girl! Always in my heart

Ebony, you will surely be missed. You were the first girl in grade school that I met who had a beautiful eccentric first name and made me proud of my first name. You carried yourself well with a beautiful smile and laugh to match. You were always kind to me and it is so sad to hear of your transition.
