Today marks 15 years that God has called you home Ebony, I just wanted to say a few words today. Ebony was my mom's 1st cousin but we were like sisters. 1 year apart we started out as cousins and ended as sisters.. I have so much to say but you actually know my heart. I miss that amazing laugh of yours, wish we had the chance to see you and Brook together with her being 18 now. Man that would have been a site to see lol. Ebony had a light that shined bright as the sun, she's missed...

I just wanted to say happy birthday, and wish that you could be here so I could celebrate it with you, and give you a hug. Sorry I didn’t get to say anything to you before you passed away. I just thought it would be too much for me, and most likely I could not take the pain but I just wanted to say I am sorry and I miss you. I also wish you were here to celebrate your birthday with everyone that wants to celebrate it with you.

Today is Eb’s B-Day and the day I break my silence. I know my family wonders why they haven’t heard from me, but Eb, my cousin knows why. I love and appreciate her so much; she was always and continues to be a ray of sunshine to me. As I look at her picture, I remember her as a little girl, always silly, easy going and just hanging out. Yet as I look, I also think about and see the woman and the mother that she has become, one full of love and kindness, which has always matched her...

May God bless, and comfort all who knew and loved Ebony. She will be missed, and her story is a lesson to us all.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Ebony passing. We went to Remington College together for a short time and she always had smile and sweet spirit. She came to mind and I Googled her name and it crushed me to see this. It would give me peace to know what took her from us. I pray that you will trust God in His infinite wisdom and He help you to endure this trying time. Each tear will lighten the heaviest of your heart.

I am so sorry for the lost of your dear loved one. It's comforting to know that God cares for all of us and losing a loved one is something we cannot get used to.
