Not sure what to say?

Ed would have been 98 today and he has been missed by us the last 2+ years. But he has started a new time line in God's heaven. May his family and friends always find comfort in that.

It's been a long lonely 2 years without Ed's singing and standing up for his beliefs. God blessed him with many gifts he passed on to countless others and is even today He was a man of integrity. Ed RIP with God. May God always be with his family and friends.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dear Jeanne Ronald, Sonya, Stephan, and the younger generation of your family. I never had the privilege of meeting Ed but the singing, acting, and interviews I've seen have really resonated with me. He was born the same year as my father. from what I've seen He seems to have similar qualities - a sharp mind, a love of family, a willingness to stand up for his beliefs, love of sports, etc. I almost believe this was because of everything their generation went through. I feel that Ed never got...

Thank you for sharing your self with us we loved you. May God bless your family.

Ed Ames has the voice of an angel. Playing his CD in my car bawling my eyes out b/c it takes me back to when I was young and my Dad played his records. I was singing his songs to my dog Rebel-- my cup runneth over with love, try to remember ..., and they call the wind Mariah--my Dad and Mom had a cherished sheltie Mariah :) Rebel told me not to quit my day job. I adore Ed Ames-they broke the mold with that magnificent, kind man. He was a "slice of heaven" on earth. That's a phrase coined...

I met Ed while serving as a missionary in New Jersey in 1964. He was a very enjoyable person to be around. We developed a brief but meaningful friendship. I would like to make contact with his wife if she would contact me at [email protected].

He was always a pefect gentleman. They just do not make them like him anymore. A huge loss for the world. Thank you for everything you and your music gave us all these years.

Just thinking of Mr. Ames tonight after seeing a video of him on the Johnny Carson Show years ago and remembering the beautiful songs he sang. I grew up playing the double keyboard organ and used to play My Cup Runneth Over With Love. Now I’m 67 and his songs are still beautiful to me. He was such a wonderful singer and will always be remembered as such.
