Bro Ballew will be solely missed. I enjoyed his preaching and singing. I have really enjoyed his books also. I will be praying for the family in this hard time. We will soon have a grand reunion of all the saints that have gone on before us and never have to leave them again. It really seems as though that the Lord has taken some of the best peachers over the past few years and with each loss it seems that we do not have many picking up the mantle to go on in there stead.

BRO. BALLEW IS MY FATHER IN THE MINISTRY. GOD USED HIS PREACHING TO GET ME INTO THE BIBLE. NOT LONG AFTER THAT GOD CALLED ME TO PREACH. THANK GOD FOR DR. ED BALLEW. HE INFLUENCED MY LIFE, MY MINISTRY, AND MY WALK WITH THE LORD LIKE NO ONE ELSE GOD HAS EVER PLACED IN MY LIFE. WE NEED A THOUSAND MORE ED BALLEWS IN THIS WORLD. CAN I GET AN AMEN RIGHT THERE?!

The first time I heard Bro. Ballew preach I was spellbound. He was very stern and believed the Bible from cover to cover. As he said. As the years passed and I got to know him better, he was very nice and when he walked into a church you knew he was "the preacher". He will be missed but I am sure he is having the time of his life! I did not know his wife had gone on to Heaven. My Dad sang anywhere he could and when he died I sent Bro. Ballew a tape of him singing. He and Pauline sent me a...

I heard of Pastor Ballew when I was a small boy. I know we will miss him but I wouldn't bring him back for anything in this world. I know that he is shouting on the hills of Glory. It was a priveliage to get to here this man of God. So family hold your head up high, because we will see him again/ Sincerely: Steve Blankenship. Maryville Tn.

I have heard Bro. Ballew preach all of my life. I remember being a little girl at Temple Baptist Church, sitting on my Daddy's knee, listening to Bro. Ballew. Along with my Papaw, Dad, and Bro. Charles Lawson, Bro. Ballew has been one of the most influential men of God in my life. When I was in college, there were so many times that I needed guidance, and I would e-mail Bro. Ballew. He always took the time to give me encouraging words. I will never forget that. He was a mighty man of God. All...
