Not sure what to say?

Dear Amanda,
Although you don't know me, me brother and I grew up with your dad, Eddie, when he and his family lived just up the road from our family. We went all through grade school and high school together, he was the same age as my brother. Your dad was quite a kid, full of fun and energy - and did he love baseball! Actually, he loved throwing lots of things when he was a kid, including a rock that left a small scar above my eyebrow to this day. But we all forgave him, because he...

Amanda, It's Auntie Linda - I too know some of what you are feeling and going through AJ. The memory of my dad, Ed's and mine, came like a tidal wave when I arrived at Wilhelm. I was the same age as you are when daddy died. I said goodbye to him on my wedding day. When we returned from our honeymoon everyone was waiting, including my dad who was "resting in peace" at Wilhelm.

I remember making a vow, that "There can't be a God! If there was a God, He would not have taken my dad...

Loved Ed, had good times in High School. I'll never forget when we got onto the golf course (not intentionally) when we missed a stop sign in the fog. Loved him for that. God bless you all.

To have known Eddie was a experience of a lifetime and thats how long I'll remember him, Eddie was
a brother. Therefore I will go have a beer for my lost brother. To all his family I send Love and Hugs. He'll be missed.

Well look Bear is parting again!!! I am so sorry about your loss Roo,Amanda,Dee. He will be missed. Take care of yourselves and god bless We will have a beer for him tonight. love ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To Linda, Todd, Jeremy & family,
Although it's been a while since the boys little league days that we saw Ed, we always remember him as a very happy, fun and caring individual. Of course, we were very saddened to see that he is now gone. We will always remember the fun we had at the St. Paul rodeo, Meadowland, and the little league dances. Please know that we are very sorry for your loss.

I am deeply saddend to learn of Bear's passing. Like others, we had not seen each other in awhile. Bear was my "birthday brother", we celebrated together for the month of April. There was always a crowd when Bear was around, he was the life of the party. Memories of dancing, skiing in Sunriver, camping in Pendelton, or backyard BBQ's with Bear, De and Amanda will never be forgotten. We'll toast a final one to the Preacher, the Pastor and the Padre in Bear's honor.

I met Ed through softball when Amanda attended our softball camp at Portland State. He was very passionate about the sport and helped many young girls achieve their goals. There was never any question that the light of his life was Amanda. My thoughts are with her and the rest of the family.

I send my deepest and most sincence condolences to amamda and her family. Ed was one of the coolest, funniest, loving men I ever met. Everytime me and him got around eachother the jokes never stopped. He would crack on me and I would crack on him! However I knew it was all in good fun and most of all love. He had this way to always make me feel welcome, and that he really cared about me!! The world is at a loss right now because we lost a very very great man. Let your memory live thru all...
