Me and my brother in the 70's
I have so many fond memories from when I was a child and my mother worked at Markgraf Pharmacy on Central and Camelback in the 70's. Mr Markgraf would let me play with the lipsticks in cosmetics and give me and my brother empty prescription bottles to store our little treasures in. I will never forget dish after dish of orange sherbert and grilled cheese sandwiches at the the soda fountain. Many, many fond memories. Thank you Mr Markgraf!

I have so many fond memories and friendships as a result of working at Markgraf Pharmacy in the late 70's. Your Dad said there are so many more opportunities out there for me and sent me on my way. He was right, I have been at St. Joes for 30 years.

Working at the soda fountain at Markgraf Pharmacy (Central and Camelback) was my first job as well. I met you guys on a beach in Mazatlan and the whole family adopted me. Before I left, Mr. Markgraf told me if I ever needed a job to look him up. He was the nicest man and you could tell how much he loved his family. Working there was so much fun and I still look back at that time fondly. I am truly sorry for the community's and your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Diane (Rabbitt) Goard
