Not sure what to say?

I used to see Ed on the Wildwood Trail every week. I miss him. He was a delightful man.

I am so sorry to hear about your dad Kelly! He was such a caring and loving man- and hilarious. I remember going to church with you guys when we came home from college. I remember saying the Lord's Prayer and I was like oh I know this and started in with the rest of the congregation. Towards the end, they all stopped and I kept going and your dad leaned over and said Well Deb, now we know who the Protestant is. We shook that pew laughing for the rest of the service. I lost my dad to...

Ed and I grew up together on North Richmond in St. John's and shared a lot of good memories: always finished his paper route long before the rest of us, was chosen to pitch in the Little League All Star game at Pier Park and was a very talented trumpet player chosen for All City High School Band. We grew up, moved away and lost touch with each other as often happens with friends but I will always remember Ed.

I have wonderful memories of Eddie at Roosevelt High in the band. He was thoughtful and kind. Not like most of the guys in the band. A good friend.

Dear Mary,

On some lucky Friday mornings my cousin Mike and I used to see you and Ed and your little dog on the Wildwood trail. There was something about Ed that I loved from the first time we met. He was such a sweet, dear man. I will miss him.

when I was youger . . .

I knew Ed only in Forest Park. On many Friday's my cousin and I would encounter Ed and Mary out near Newton Rd. Ed always had a big smile and a warm greeting.

He will be missed.

I worked with Ed in Distribution at NWNG for about five years during the 80s. He was a really good guy with a droll sense of humor and was fun to work with. I remember specifically some advice from him as I was about to apply for a higher level job in another department within the company...just tell them you know how to do it and then figure it out! Effectively...fake it till you make it. I am so sorry Edand you with himhad to go through this evil disease, and I am so sorry for your loss.

To Kelly and family, my sincerest condolences over losing your father, first and foremost. Secondly, to losing your father to truly a devastating disease. I remember your parents' family from my work in the St Johns Post Office and then your family from my route with Arden Road the last decade.
