Not sure what to say?

My darling Auntie Paula, Ronnie, Steven, Connie, Kerry, Michele, Seth and Ariel,
Words cannnot fully express the terribe ache and grief we all feel at the loss of our beloved Uncle Irving. He was a wonderful, special man, whose visits to Montreal were always a big event in our family. I will cherish my warm memories of his sense of humour, incredible generosity, big heart and all-around cuteness, and I will always remember him with the greatest of love.
With love from all of...

Dear Paula and family, our sincere sympathies on the passing of your beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sandi and Shelly Berg

Dear Paula, Steven and family,my sincere sympathies on Ed's passing. I have emany warm memories of our friendship and pleasant times spent together at the Opera and in our respective homes. my thoughts and prayers are with you Paula and the entire family. Patricia Warmington

Uncle Irving sent me a letter earlier this year. I read it again yesterday. His kindness, thoughtfulness and devotion to family came through in his words as they did in his actions. I feel lucky to have known him.

Little Ed was a gentleman and a gentle man. Ever a fine businessman, father, husband and friend Ed always took time to listen to what you had to say and then tell some really bad joke. And life seemed better. Peace Ed. A life well lived. Ha-makom yinakhem et-khem betokh she-ar aveilei tziyon veyerushalayim,

I was very sad to see hear of the passing of Mr. Snyder. My first job was in the late 60's at Laura Lee. Mr. Snyder was always very good to me and I will always have a spot in my heart for him. My very deepest sympathy to his family.

To my dear Auntie Paula and cousins Kerry, Michele, Steven, Connie, and Ron,
Words cannot express the sense of loss we all feel at Uncle Irving's passing. He was warm, loving, generous, funny, clever, and a gentleman from the top of his sweet bald head to the tips of his toes.
I will miss him always. May your memories of this wonderful man help get you through this difficult time. With much love, Rosalie

Steven
I was saddened to hear about your Dad's passing.
You have my deepest sympathy.
Take Care!
Sincerely,
Mary Brulotte

I was a school mate to Kerry for several years at Talmud Torah in the early 1960's. Later, in the early 1970's I worked part time for Mr. Snyder at Laura Lee Ladies Wear on 103 Street and Jasper Avenue. It was my one and only sojourn into retail. Although I did not have the knack for sales, he was always very kind to me. That was a lifetime ago and I remember that time with joy. My sympathies to the Snyder family. Agnes (Menczel) Scott.
