Eda Howard

We are so sorry to learn of Edie's death. We certainly loved talking and visiting with your Mom and Grandma through the years and know she will be heartily missed by all. She was definitely a bright light and I'm sorry we weren't there at the funeral to say "goodbye". Much love to all the family that she loved so very much. We hope everyone is staying well during these difficult Covid times. Our best to everyone.

Mrs. Howard, was my Home Economics teacher at WHS in early 1960's. She encouraged me to attend K-State and follow my dreams. My senior clothing project, a purple velvet formal, was a challenge. In her caring way, she supported and encouraged me. I am one of the many students she influenced. I will continue to share her caring attitude and "pay it forward ".

She was the kindest person and a very, very dear friend. I wen to exercise class with her for many years and she was an inspiration to me and other women less than half her age. We had many good lunches and movies together. I can’t imagine life without her. I loved her.
