Not sure what to say?

I just found a Eddie Brinkman baseball glove. It brought back fond memories of this great guy . I tried to emulate him on the diamond however Eddie was one of a kind there. I lost contact with a lot of the greats and was saddened to read of his passing . My condolences to the family. Rick McCormick

I lived next door to the Brinkmans in the late 1960's and was their babysitter. They were very kind. I wonder what their children are doing today.

I watched Eddie play for the Washington Senators! We were also in the D C guard at the same time so sad to here of his passing. Rest In Peace

Met Eddie at yankee stadium. He didnt like his new glove and gave it to me. Via Marty Springstead AL Ump in the day.

I saw Eddie as a player for Raleigh in the Carolina League. He was a hero to us and a favorite of mine for all of his career. I hope his family knows how much joy he brought the fans! God bless his memory.

Dear Brinkman Family..we got my now deceased inlaws to only 1Tiger game before they passed. The game was tied in the ninth. Dad thought he had time to get a beer. Steady Eddie stepped up and with 1 swing he ended the game with the Tigers winning. He created a lot of memories for many fans. We loved him. He was a good man.

Eddie Brinkman had long and fine career. I remember his great fielding skills. He had a long and memorable career.
