Not sure what to say?

He was an amazing and awesome teacher. I still think of him after all these years.

Thank you Mr. Buttler for all that you gave to all of us kids. You and Mr. Waterman were a big impact on our young lives and one I will never forget.God bless you and your Family!!

Eddie was a dear and special friend. He and I taught together at Eisenhower Elementary. Knowing him made me a better person. I send many thoughts and prayers to his family at this difficult time.

A wonderful, thoughtful, interesting teacher. My kids loved his challenging class & always felt he cared about them & their success. He is missed.

My Condolences to the Butler Family.

In 1966 I was a brand new 3rd grade teacher at Hazel Dell Elementary. It turned out the other 3rd grade teacher was also a new college graduate. Time and again Eddie helped us out with suggestions, humor and guidance. The students and staff loved him and when he spoke we all listened. I haven't seen Eddie in years but I have certainly thought about him during those years. He touched many lives and will be remembered fondly by scores of people.
