Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Carter , I am saddened to learn of the passing of Rev. Carter. May God who is more than able, comfort and keep you in perfect peace. I am a witness, that God will never leave you alone.

We will always remember Eddie's laughter, his singing, and the cookies from the factory when we were younger. "Good men must die, but death cannot kill their names." (Your Cousins)

My Dearest Lewis Anthony,
I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your step-father. May your mother be comforted in all of the love and memories they shared and may you and the rest of your family hold on to all of the good times of which he was a part. My sincerest condolences.

Sister Carter
My prayers to you and family during this sad time. If you knew him you loved him. He will now be singing with the angels. God Bless.

I am so thankful to have had such a great man of God in lives. A man of character, honor, a caring heart and love. A man with a voice of spoken words of wisdom and songs of Faith. Always focus on God. Philippians 3:13-14. Mom Marlene, as a tree is planted, deeply rooted by the riverbanks, so is Eddie's love and life within you always. Blessings, love and peace be upon you today and always. Love, Mona, Jewell, Candace, Carrie, and Omari.

...Sis. Carter, I am remembering the sweet moments of Christian Worship and Fellowship with you and Rev. Eddie Carter as we would share at our home church, Union Wesley AME Zion, Pastor A.T. Durant. "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;" (Hebrews 12:2 KJV)

Ms. Marlene I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Carter's passing. You know he raised so many of us when he was on Benning Road. I'm sure that you have many wonderful memories...he was a wonderful person. Rest in peace, Mr. Carter.

May The Lord comfort you in your time of loss. I am the daughter of Mrs. Dorothy Corbitt from Southern Baptist Church who remembers the times when Reverened Carter sang in her church. He will always be remembered for his wonderful voice God gifted to him.

God bless you Maureen, Rev. Anthony and family.
