I worked with Eddie Cope when he reported the payroll for his Long John Silvers store. He had a great sense of humor. Rest In Peace, Eddie. I will not forget you.

To me, Eddie Cope was a wonderful man. I knew him for more than 40 years because I was part of the service that kept his books for Long John Silver´s. He always found humor in everything and everyone that I know that knew him, loved him. He loved his wife and family and would always talk about them. Eddie, you will truly be missed by so many. I also worked as a co Manager for Eddie many many years ago. He was a great guy. My condolences to his family. I pray God gives you all the strength you need to get through this difficult time.

I worked for Ed for 5 years in Tallahassee. The first memory I had of him was when he told me he liked the fact that I respected him as owner and he respected me as one of his managers. My most vivid and favorite memory of him was when I called him one night because a customer made a racist remark and he told me that I didn´t have to tolerate that and to ask the person to leave the restaurant. He was a very funny man and I will always remember my Long John Silvers days fondly because of him....

I was the manager of Long John Silvers in Ocala Florida and worked under Eddie for nine years. He was the best to work for. He loved his family and spoke about Sheila and the kids often, especially little RED. When my daughter was born forty-four years ago he gave me the Long John Silver character plaques. I still have them in my office today and think about Eddie (Junior) often. Sheila you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. David Otzel but to Eddie The Frito Bandito.
