Marietta was a very dear friend of mine during our teen years and we remained so when we married Hilen brothers. Johnny and I spent many good times with Eddie and Marietta to numerous to mention. I was there when Karen and Dale came into this world and their children became close with our two children, Chris and Lisa. Many good and fun times was spent at their home by the Hilen family. I just heard of Eddie's passing. i am so sorry and extend my deepest sympathy. Eddie was wonderful to me and was so encouraging. i loved his laugh and smile! I only wish i could have his disposition.
i am in florida but would be at the funeral if in lexington.
just wanted you all to know, Eddie Hilen was a wonderful person!
