Not sure what to say?

When Eddie married my sister Virginia he instantly became a member of our family, Eddie was my brother in-law but was more like a brother. My mother and father Ray and Thelma Roberts became Eddies second parents and stayed close to him after my sister passed. He was greatly loved by the Roberts family.

You were missed so much from across the country, and now you seem even farther away. I'll never forget the week I was lucky enough to spend with you in Vallejo the summer of my high school graduation, and the honesty and wisdom you shared about life in our morning talks under the almond tree. I know you are truly happy now with your sweet Virginia, and for that I am so happy. Thank you for the abundance of life you shared. Can't wait to see you again someday.

I am so sad to hear of sweet Uncle Eddie's passing, but like all of the other guestbook signers, know that he is where his heart has been-with Aunt Virginia. I once had the pleasure of flying out to Vallejo where Uncle Eddie lived for a while, and meeting my cousins and second cousins. This time with Uncle Eddie was invaluable to me. He was so open about life. He taught me a lot in our long morning talks under the almond tree each day the week I was there. What a soul. He reminded me SO much...

I also worked with Ed and enjoyed knowing him and laughing at his often sick jokes and stories. Wish I had know he lived so close to me. I will miss him and I know that he is in a better place and with his Virginia again,

From the day Eddie marriage my sister he became not just a brother in-law but a brother. He was a wonderful uncle to my children and he loved my parents like his own. I am so sad that he is gone but so happy for him that he is now with Virginia who he has missed for so long.

He loved to laugh and make others laugh. His eyes twinkled with mischief. He and Virginia were such good friends to us, and made us feel like part of their family. Now they are together forever. Love to the family.

I was fortunate to work with Ed in Solano Co. I remember the many times I had to groan aloud or laugh until tears ran down my face at his jokes! You are ever remembered Ed. Rest in peace.

I worked with Ed for his entire 20 years at the county. He was a joy to know and work with and I send my deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
