Saddened to here of his passing we were talking and joking around the week before in his garage very wise and humble Man i loved takeing advice from him and just his and Betty's company he will be greatly missed.

Mr. Robinson gave me my first job in baseball, and I will always be thankful for that. He was also a tremendous 'straight shooter' and a caring individual who I greatly respected.

Eddie was an incredible friend and neighbor. I did not get to meet him until 1988 and missed his baseball career. But we did spend lots of time on my back patio smoking cigars and listening to many incredible stories about baseball and life. He was a force for many years helping retired players through the MLB charity golf tournaments where I got to meet so many of the older players thanks to Eddie. We enjoyed many baseball games in his seats behind home plate...
