i first heard eddie play in 1978. from the opening of runnin with the devil to the closing riffs of on fire i was immediately sold as an instant fan. eddie was a shredder but also an amazing writer and innovator. i grew up on van halen and at 57 years old they are still in the top of my apple playlist. miss you eddie. gone, but never forgotten.....
