Not sure what to say?

Edelgard, just thought of you today, I´m not sure why. You were my favourite manager and you made working in the NRT so pleasant for me. You were so kind to all the new nursing staff, even setting up a mentorship program. You were so thoughtful and I loved working with you. Missing you and hoping you´re resting happily up in heaven.

01/31/2021 - Over the years I have often thought of Edelgard. Just today I googled her name in hopes of contacting her. I was so sad to find her obituary. We worked together at St. Joe’s. Edelgard, you always had something kind to say and always asked me how I was. Your presence and grace was always a blessing. You will be missed, but are undoubtedly resting in the kindness and love you brought to us.

You will be missed. Not only did I have the pleasure of working with you but I also received the best nursing care from you. You were the best and I am so happy to have known you.

Thanks Edel for giving me my start in the ICU. The knowledge you gave has helped me throughout my practice as a nurse. May your family find peace through your good work.
