I will miss the friendly greetings that Dr Barham and I shared as I walked down the hallway where his office is located - between the operating room and same day surgery. His door was always open and welcoming. I will also remember warmly his soft spoken presence in the doctors lounge at Womans Hospital.

Dr Barham was a very kind person. I will never forget his kindness to me during one of the scariest moments in my life when I was being tested for breast cancer. To the family of Dr Barham, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I had the privilege of working for Dr.Barham early in my career as a medical sonographer. He was indeed a great mentor. A professional dedicated to excellence. His unique sense of humor and approachability made him a favorite and friend to many. His passing is simply heartbreaking. Prayers for his family and coworkers who will no doubt miss his interesting stories and upbeat personality.

He read so many films for my patients over the years and I always had confidence in his reports, and loved to shoot the breeze in the Woman’s doctors lounge
