Not sure what to say?

Edgar was my cousin, but I didn't know him well due to the age difference and distance. His mom, my Aunt Leta, was one of my favorite people, as well as my mom, Pauline & her sister, Ruth. I visited him and his wife, Madalyn, when I was about 16 and remember him as being a quiet, kind and gentle man with an easy smile. I'll always remember the kindness he showed his little cousin that he hardly knew, but it left an imprint. I hope Madalyn, that you remain strong in your faith and in the...

Rest in Peace sweet man.

Edgar and I began school together at Marsh in 1946, continued through Ramey, Roberts Jr. High, Tyler High, and TJC. I saw Edgar and met Madalynn at church after I returned to Tyler. Sad to say that we lost contact after that. Edgar was a man with a dry sense of humor, a quiet man. His memory will be cherished by family and friends.

Wonderful picture & remember seeing him at "Brother Dave's" for coffee in the mornings. So much fun back in those days. Sorry could not attend the graveside today, but business. Dave Bain
