What a great gentleman, great friend ,great West Avenue neighbor. Always fun. My sympathy to May and Ed's family and all who felt the same way I did about them.

We extend our heartfelt sympathy to Ed's family. I worked with Ed for about 36 years. A really great guy on many levels.

Here´s a memory of my Uncle Ed that I will never forget: he "just happened" to visit (with his wife, my Aunt May) on the weekend that my Father (Ed´s brother) died; Dad was in a hospital with "pre-leukemia". Ed told me that my Dad said to him, "they´re letting me out of here tomorrow". "Tomorrow" was Sunday May 2, 1999, and my Father died early that morning. The fact that Ed and May were there helped to stabilize what could have been an overwhelming emergency. Their help was paramount - and...
