Not sure what to say?

I am forever grateful of the wonderful lifetime relationship I had with Edgar beginning when I was a bridesmaid at his and my sister's wedding 71 years ago. I greatly admired his proficiency with words creating beautiful poetry. His singing in a quartet was very inspiring. His and Sara's trips to visit Karl and me in Kentucky and here in Texas were so enjoyable. He had such a great love of family and friendships. I'm sure he and Karl have already gotten together for humorous story telling and...

Admiration is the first word that comes to mind with I think of Uncle Edgar. I think everyone who knew and loved him admired him. I know I did! He had an amazing mind, both creative and intellectual, and a very gentle and loving spirit. Heaven is lucky to have him.

I enjoyed the few times I visited with him and my kids thought he was the cutest grandpa they had ever meet. What a blessing for 71 years of marriage and we thank him for his WWII service.

Uncle Edgar was such a sweet and loving man. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

I remember how he would create games for the kids to play at our family picnics when I was one of the kids, and I'll remember him always as a kind and gentle man.

I have so many joyful memories of Pop Pop. I am very thankful that his great-grandchildren were blessed to know him. We will always remember him as one of the "GREATS."

I will miss my Pop-Pop. I always looked forward to visiting him. What a character! Hans
