Uncle Ed was truly a great uncle!!
His Sunday rides, trips to Forest Park to see the zoo and museums, Sunday night movies downtown (although we never saw the beginning of the movie) Uncle Ed was never known for being punctual!! He was also the slowest eater on the face of the earth---all of his nieces and nephews remember having to wait for presents on Christmas Eve until he finished his coffee!!!! He made weekly visits to our house and always brought soda and candy--what a treat! I love...
