My family has very fond memories of Dr. Holmes. We became acquainted when our newborn son needed surgery . He was a calm, skilled and patient doctor. Thank you Doctor Holmes. You will be missed.

Dear family of Ed, So sorry to hear of Ed's passing, but of course, I knew of his illness. Friendship with Ed goes back to summers of boyhood at Camp Pinnacle in Lyme, N. H. He and his brother, Steve, knew my brother, Ted, and me. We teamed for many athletic events. Later in life, I attended Medical School at The Boston University School of Medicine, and Ed and I were in the same class. We skied a bit together on breaks from the Medical School challenge.
