Dr. Edgar M. Holmes III

June 21 1980 Rutland hospital, Dr Edgar Holmes saved my life. I spent the remainder of the summer under his care in the hospital, I am forever grateful

Dr Holmes was the best Dr to me...he is loved and missed and never forgotten...

after all these years He is Still the COOLEST Dr. I have ever met most personable Man the young ones should learn from this Great surgeon he used all my notes to teach in Europe about his worst case and both his Best case he once told me

My family has very fond memories of Dr. Holmes. We became acquainted when our newborn son needed surgery . He was a calm, skilled and patient doctor. Thank you Doctor Holmes. You will be missed.

so sorry to hear of dr holmes passing i was born with club feet and he performed surgery on me and if it wasent for him i would be able to walk today so thank u dr holmes

I am so sorry to hear of Dr Holmes' passing. He was the ultimate gentleman and always kind to his patients and the nurses. My condolences ti his family.

I am saddened to hear of the loss of your father, and your friend.
He was an inspiration to all who knew him.

Dear family of Ed, So sorry to hear of Ed's passing, but of course, I knew of his illness. Friendship with Ed goes back to summers of boyhood at Camp Pinnacle in Lyme, N. H. He and his brother, Steve, knew my brother, Ted, and me. We teamed for many athletic events. Later in life, I attended Medical School at The Boston University School of Medicine, and Ed and I were in the same class. We skied a bit together on breaks from the Medical School challenge.
