Not sure what to say?

Deacon Hopper was a her to City Lore. In 2004, City Lore, New York's Center for Urban Folk Culture, give him a People's Hall of Fame Award for his work on St. Augustine's "Slave Gallery." I also interviewed him for an article about the Lower East Side. He was a tremendously articulate and empathetic human being. We miss hi.

You my dear Cousin will be truly missed.
Especially your accomplishments in and around the community. Your sense of humor when the family joined together. Such an enjoyable time we had together. But our memory of you will be in our hearts and thoughts forever.

What a wonderful life!
