I'm sorry for your loss. When my dad died in 2003, Ed was the only member of the medical staff who sent me a note, handwritten at that. It surprised me both for its sensitivity and knowledge of my relationship with my dad and that he thought to write such a note to me, Chair of Emergency Medicine, and a regular source of some agita for Ed. May his memory be a blessing.
