Edgar Mixan

Edgar was like a brother to me. Grade school, high school, football mate. We kept in touch over the years. When he was in Illinois he would call and we would visit. We were together at our last high school 60th reunion, and it was a great time complete with pictures. I also knew his family, father Tony and his mother Angeline, along with Tony and Rosemary. Loved his Mother's cooking and his father's support in our football games. My nickname to him was Jay-Jay. He will be remembered...

I only knew Edgar from his reputation, his family and then by a lot of social media interaction. I grew to respect and admire all that he had done.
