Not sure what to say?

Ned was a fine story teller and wrote down many of his best stories in what was to be a book. I was going to publish it for him. I hope Ann will find the manuscript because his many friends would be delighted to enjoy it.

May his memory be a blessing

Ned was definitely "one of a kind!" I knew and worked with him at Harveys and have shared many humorous occasions with him! He was loved by all who knew him. He loved Ann and his children passionately and was very proud of their accomplishments. I will always have fond memories of him and send my deep condolences to his family. May he rest in peace!

A fine man with a gift for words and actions. We will miss him, as you do.

Ned was ... that's a hard word - "was" - to write about Ned Overton. We "grew" up together as our families were inseparable and I could always count on Ned to have my back in good times and in bad times. He was the kindest, most gentle hearted person I have ever known. He had a wicked sense of humor. He got in to his fair shard of trouble as a

Ned and his parents, as well as his brother were family to me and my sister. We cherish the memories, especially the summers at Pickwick Landing Dam, the boat rides on the Cumberland River and the big ice and snow storm in the early 1950s when we were all stranded/snowed in at my parents home for several days. Then he ended up marrying a cousin of ours! Love and God's Blessings to all of the family and our derpest sympathy as well. He was one of a kind!

So sad to read of Ned's passing. He was a bright spot in the world. We miss you both as neighbors.
