My sincere condolences to the family. I was bar mitvahed by Dr. Siskin in 1947, and remained in touch with him through my college years. I fear that I disappointed him by not becoming a rabbi (something I thought of until my sophomore year in college). My thoughts are with and your family during this time. Rabbi Siskin conducted my Bar Mitzvah service on January 29, 1966 and I remember the service and him as if it were yesterday. I grew up in Glencoe. Rabbi Siskin was my Rabbi and also the father of a close friend, Jon. He was a great man-I was proud to have known him.My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
