Ed will always hold a very special place in my heart. He raised a beautiful family and had many dear friends.

Edgar was the funniest person to play practical jokes on and travel with!
He will be forever in my heart

To the Staren Families and Co-workers of Ed
He was a gentleman in the business and always enthusiastic to make our business a success! Nice, nice man with integrity and loyalty. We will miss him! He was a gift to all that knew him. We were truly blessed with his guidance and friendship in the meat business.

Dear Staren family ~

On behalf of Ed's dear friend George Zaslaw, please accept our deepest sympathies. Our father cherished his almost lifelong friendship with Ed, and it was heartwarming that Ed ventured out on Feb. 2nd and came to Glenview to help celebrate George's 100th birthday, on a day when he was feeling so unwell, himself, yet looking wonderful, as he always did. Ed, Ted, and Barbara,

We pray the Lord will surround you with an extra measure of His grace as you mourn the loss of your father.

Grace and peace,
Jim and Candee H.
