Uncle Eddie! I just found your obituary after wondering for years why I hadn’t heard from you. Even though we hadn’t seen each other in many years, we always exchanged Christmas cards. I finally decided to search you out and found you to be in Heaven. I have found memories of you from when I was a little girl and from the last time I visited you in FL many years ago, i know your nieces and nephews always called you “Uncle Woody” but you’ll always be “Uncle Eddie” to me. Rest in Peace...

I will always remember him as, "Uncle Woody". I spent a lot of my childhood with him, in his other life. I have seen "Uncle Woody" several times, in the past few years, as now I am not a child but an adult of 49 years. You will be missed. Eric Cartwright
