"Uncle Ed" wasn't my blood uncle but it seemed like I always knew him as my uncle. I remember going to the cottage in Rowe with my parents as a child and I always loved having his blueberry pancakes if I spent the night. We lost touch over the years but I moved back to MA in 1994.
