Not sure what to say?

Dear Laurie:
We were neighbors in Bala Cynwyd - we lived right behind you. We moved 2 years ago and I just now heard of your loss. Please accept my deepest sympathies. You and your Mom will be in my prayers.

My heart goes out to the children of Edie Huggins, may God wrap his loving arms around you and comfort you always,

God Bless,

Ms. Edie,

You were beautiful. I will miss your advice. Best wishes to your family.

We should all have such a legacy to leave behind. Edie touched so many people in her lifetime.

Special sympathy to her devoted daughter, Laurie.

I AM SADDENED FOR YOUR LOST.

My dad must be very happy to finally meet Miss Huggins in Heaven. A humble Italian immigrant, he was glued to the news when Miss Huggins was on. She reminded me of my father's baby sister who is also in Heaven. I am saddened by your loss of such a beautiful, wonderful woman. You were blessed to have had her in your lives. My condolences to all in Miss Huggins family. She was and will always be "beloved" to so many. We were all blessed to have known Miss Huggings.

Edie will be greatly missed. What a trailblazer and visionary. Many young men and women have been inspired by her accomplishments and her don't quit attitude. May she rest in peace and may God bless the family and friends.

I attended Bartlett High School in St. Joseph, Mo. with Edie. She had a sweet personality and quick wit even at an early age. She was a credit to humanity. Our sympathy to her family.

My deepest sympathies are extended to the family and friends of the Late Ms. Huggins She was a Philadelphia icon. Her smile, pleasant personality will be missed. Thank you for the memories, Ms. Edie.
