HOW we love Edie! She was my "other Mom"! We grieve with you, our hearts break with and for you...but WHAT memories she left in all our hearts! Not a day goes by that we don't think and speak of her and all of you. You are the most wonderful friends we have or will ever have! Positive and loving words are all we ever heard from Edie. Dear Becketts, We were so sorry to hear of Edith's death. Edith was my mother's cousin, Ruth Hedrick Bonner, on the Simmons side. Edith's mother, Pearl, was my great aunt on the Bonner side. I remember you and "Cooch" staying with my grandparents, Casper and Margie Bonner, for deer hunting. We did get to see Edith the last time she came to WV before her dad passed away. Once again, please pass our condolences along to your family.

Dear Dan and family,

We will miss Edie, she was such a sweet lady and a pleasure to know. I always enjoyed our mother's day luncheons and the many hours I got to visit with her when I would bring Cailin and Dustin to Grandma Edie's house! You couldn't just visit for a minute with Edie! Before I knew it, an hour would have passed! She always had a smile on her face and a kind word. We loved her and will miss her sweet gentle spirit. Thank you for sharing her with all of us! ...

Although I didn't have the honor of knowing Edith personally, I have the great privilege of counting her daughter as one of my dearest friends. I know Edith had a great deal to do with Barbara's love for the Lord, tender and compassionate heart, and love for others. My prayers are with her entire family during this sad time.

Carol and I are extremely saddened at the thought of Eadie passing last week.
Although we are a long distance away, you are all in our thoughts and
prayers as we send this message of condolence. Dan, we sincerely hope
that when you continue to write your daily news, you will include great
stories of Eadie in her quest of being the best wife, mother, grandmother
and friend as we all knew she was.
