Edith Leona Blalock-Hickey

Edith Leona Blalock-Hickey, 94, of Turtletown, Tennessee, an employee with Home Health Care of the Polk County Health Department before her retirement, passed away at Copper Basin Medical Center on Tuesday, October 10, 2000. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 12, after noon, and 6-8 p.m., at Akins Funeral Home, 404 Tennessee Avenue, Copperhill, Tennessee. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, October 13, 2 p.m., at Croft’s Chapel Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. Keith Daugherty. Interment will be at Croft’s Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.
