She is survived by her children, Fariyd Muhammad (Verneda), Ethel Bracey, Bernice Wyatt (Jim) and Dr. Rodney Bracey (Fanita); seven grandchildren, Linda Gillis, Christopher Bracey, Kisha Christian, Keith Bracey, Lisa Bracey, LaShon Bracey, Michael Bracey; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Agnes Blackwell and Ora Walker; and host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at 3 p.m. from Brown's Memorial Chapel in Lawrenceville, Va., with Dr. Rodney Bracey officiating. Brown's Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
