Edith Ebe Brown

The Brown Family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Edie has been in and out of lives since our sons were little. My son Michael and her Eric were in activities throughout their lives. From sports to singing or acting our paths crossed frequently.
She was a dear friend and will be greatly missed. Yvonne Jordan

My deepest sympathies to all of you. Your mom was always so kind and sweet. Almost every time I would come home to Portland to visit I would run into Edie outside (usually in her garden) and we would catch up on our families. She was such a welcoming, familiar presence and I will dearly miss that as will my parents who have felt so connected to her for over 40 years.

I so enjoyed our lunches where I learned more about our families, we were cousins. You were always so very happy and up beat. After I retired I wished we had spend more of those lunches together.

I met Eddie when I had her amazing son Eric in my computer classroom at Wilson High School. I have used her as an example many times as someone who has made a major contribution to what is possible in the lives of children. We had many wonderful conversations and she always made me feel appreciated. The last time I saw her she still had the most amazing smile and gift of giving. She will be missed.
