RIP Edith Paul

She was a wonderful person and a dedicated public servant and St. Louis County Councilmember.

Adieu to a treasured classmate from Leadership St. Louis, a mentor, a friend and , on occasion, the sister I always wanted. I will miss your e-mails, cartoons, political commentary but mostly, I will miss you. St. Louis is a much better place because of you. To Jim, Jim Jr. ,Corri and the grandchildren..my most heartfelt sympathy on your loss.

Edith Cunane served as our Councilwoman from the 3rd County District. She will be truly missed

I met Edith in 1989 when I was hired by Sr. Robbie Pentecost at St. Patrick Center. I became Edith's secretary and she became my friend. It was a wonderful 10 years of my life.....making so many friends, learning so much about homelessness and getting to know her family. RIP beautiful lady, you will be missed, but never forgotten. You left footprints wherever you went.....

I met and worked with Edith when she and her family fostered a child from my DFS caseload many years ago. She was a great foster parent and wonderful to work with, as was her whole family. After all her service to others in so many ways, she is certainly resting in eternal peace in Heaven. I know her family will desperately miss her, but will see her again. Peace and love.

Rest In Peace Edith, no one deserves it more.
God bless you for all the sacrifices you made to make St Patrick's so special

I had the great privilege of working with Edith for nearly 10 years, when she hired me to serve as Development & Public Relations Director at St. Patrick Center (From 1990 to 2000). Edith always welcomed creative, new ideas, and was instrumental in bringing everyone she knew into the family of dedicated St. Patrick Center supporters. Edith served her community with a determined focus on what more could be done to alleviate homelessness and poverty experienced by the people of St. Louis. Edith...
