Dear Zeke and Debra;

Warm condolences to you and all your family during your time of loss. We both thought a lot of your mother. Julia and I especially enjoyed getting to meet and talk with with her at Penny's house. She loved her family and the Lord Jesus. It would have been easy to talk with her for hours to hear her many stories of days gone by.
Sorry we missed you the other day.
We love you and our prayers are with you.
Joe and Julia

we are deeply sadned to hear of the lost of your loved one my grandmother and mrs douan were close friends until she passed august8 2003 mrs ida johnson. we will keep you in our prayers.

I have always admired Mr. and Mrs. Douan since my days at Chicora. I stopped by the grocery store almost every morning and chat with Mr. Douan on my way to school. And most of the time Mrs. Douan was there also. They were, in my opinion, the ideal parents. I still recall those days from time to time. I know that now God has them in his arms forever. May God bless the family.
