Not sure what to say?

Mere words can never express the sincere, heartfelt gratitude we have for Miss Enkler's dedication and her tremendous contribution to our lives. The East High School Class of '66 will be eternally grateful to her.
Yes to Miss Enkler:
We love you, yes we do. As in our Alma Mater; "to your standards we'll
be ever true". You emulated in every way the "loyalty of 'gold' and the royalty of 'blue'"

In Sympathy Most Sincere,

Class of 1966 Reunion Committee

My condolences to the family.

Miss Enkler will truly be missed by many people whose lives she touched. It was a pleasure and an honor to see her at east High's 100 Year Celebration.

Miss Enkler I'll never forget you.

Robert Adams '73

My condolences to the Enkler family. I had the pleasure of working with Miss Enkler from 1974 to her retirement from the Cleveland School System. She was a role model for me as I was a rookie teacher at East High School in 1974. I always looked up to her because she was a dedicated and hard working teacher that would volunteer her free time to help both students and faculty members. She will be greatly missed.

Miss Enkler was indeed an excellent role model. I was a member of the Cleveland East High Class of January 1965. As a teacher, she was organized, efficient, dedicated and caring. Never does a day go by that I don't use some of her techniques in my own classroom. There are too few Miss Enkler's touching the lives of students in the Cleveland system today. She will continue to live in my memories.

Miss Enkler was a wonderful example
of a teacher from the "old school"
when I started my teaching career
at East High in 1968. She had a
wonderful dignity and all of us were in awe of her knowledge and of course her work singing with the
Cleveland Orchestra Chorus. I hope
her last years were happy. Best
regards to any East High students/
teachers who sign this book.
Polly Hackett-Morey who taught Home
Economics and History.

Our family has fond memories of Miss Enlker, from Cleveland East High School class of '66, my younger sister's class of '70 and my niece Venita's class of '82. Her dedication and kindness will be remembered always.

Miss Enkler was my favorite teacher at Thomas Jefferson Jr. High in 1946. She taught my 8th and 9th grade German classes and I will always remember her kindness to me. She was the best!
