Not sure what to say?

The summer of 2007, Aunt Edith came to New Castle to stay for awhile. Even though she may not have known us, she still smiled and I guess we hoped inside that she recognized us. We will miss her.

I always think of Aunt Edith smiling and laughing as she sat at Grandma's kitchen table when visiting the farm. As I got older I was reminded of my father's smile and her's being so similar. I looked forward to any visits from Aunt Edith, Uncle Gray, Jimmy, Bobby and Susan. It meant more fun at Grandma's for me for a week or two in the summer.

My sister was one of the nicest people I have ever known. She was always there for me when growing up.She always looked like a movie star when she and Gray went to all the Navy functions. She was a big game player and especially enjoyed playing Yatze which we always played when ever we visited. She'll be sorely missed

A friend of the Mershimer family for many years. Sorry to hear of your loss.

With so many negative things being said about mother in laws, I can truly say mine not like that at all. She was patient, kind and gentle. These qualities, patience, kindness and gentleness are so evident in her children. I will forever be changed because of the example she set for me.

My mom was such a wonderful person and I have many happy memories of her. She was the sweetest person I ever knew and I strive everyday to be the kind of person she was. She is at peace now and out of pain.

Edith was a wonderful friend. I enjoyed her and Gray. We played golf and cards together. I have some wonderful memories of her sense of humor and good nature. I will miss her.
