Mrs. Gnippe would come into my Father's business and we had wonderful conversations. Such a lovely lady who will be missed. We are sorry for your loss.

Edie was a warm, wonderful person, a loyal friend and a very successful yenta. She fixed up my mother (formerly Mary Margolis) and my step-father (Zeke [real name Lawrence] Zuckerman). Mom was recently divorced. Zeke was recently widowed. They married within a year and had many happy years together. I will always be very grateful to her for her kindness and concern.

Edith was one of our dearest neighbors and a great friend. We will dearly miss her generous spirit, keen intellect, compassion for the oppressed-and her clever and compelling poems. She had such style and class. And of course, Edith was always at the ready with an Eli's Cheesecake for her visitors! Truly one of a kind, we will fondly remember dear Edee.
With deepest sympathies to Edith's family and friends,
