Edith Wignall Grant passed away March 23, 2011. She was born in Payson, UT on September 3, 1916 to Joseph Wells and Goldie Tanner Wignall. She married Wayne Grant on November 26, 1934. They were the parents of three sons. Edith worked as a Psych Tech. Supervisor at Utah State Hospital for over 20 years. She also worked as a volunteer at Mountain View Hospital for 14 years. She loved cooking and quilting and was excellent at both. Edith is survived by her sons, Ned W. (Phyllis) and M.J. (Virginia) as well as her brothers, Bill and Dean Wignall, 14 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, LaMar, three sisters, and three brothers. Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Walker Mortuary, 187 S. Main, Spanish Fork, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Burial will be at Salem City Cemetery.
