We were saddened to hear about the passing of Mrs Johnson and our prayers are with the family. I will always remember the Johnson family, while growing up as a child, as one of the original residents of 27th Street, in Newport News, Virginia. Mrs. Elaine Johnson was a wonderful, intelligent, kind, compassionate, and highly educated woman, who made many outstanding contributions in her lifetime and has been an inspiration to all of us.
