Dear George: When I first moved to CB 25 years ago Iwent to work at Sapp brothers & you and Edith were some of the FIRST people who came in and I served coffee to. You were then AND now two of my favorite people in Council Bluffs. Edith was a shining star who's love and light will continue to shine in my heart. I will forever remember her sweet nature and beautiful smile...

Ron & I know all of you well. Remember all the softball games? And the gatherings for wedding and baby showers? We loved your Mom! She was always so happy and bouncy fun! She cherished all of you and especially those grandchildren!

To George and family. I am so sorry for your loss of a really nice and outgoing lady. Even though I have not been in touch with Edith for sometime, I have many fond memories of when she was growing up on the farm outside of Arispe, Iowa. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

To Cynthia and all the Hess family...I was so very sorry to hear of your loss. I didn't know Edith well but was blessed to meet her through our mutual friend Dana Ferguson. My prayers are with you all in this time of loss.
