Not sure what to say?

She made the world more interesting by being in it. I know she didn't believe in heaven, but I do and I know she's holding an interesting conversation and making someone laugh somewhere!

The entire Weisner family expresses its warmest wishes to our Mom's (Ruth Weisner's) dearest friend and former Merritt College colleague, Edith. Edith and Dave were there for Ruth....I know she is still there for Edith and the Jenkins family today.

Our love,

Connie and Stan Weisner

Edith was an incredible woman. She did not even have to speak for one to know this. I loved her mind and her poetry. She gave my daughter a place to stay while working in San Francisco - an opportunity that she could not have afforded otherwise. Bless her for her kindness. I remember she loved ginger and her beautiful garden. I visited in her home and enjoyed every minute. May she rest in peace with her beloved husband.

What a woman! What courage, integrity, complexity, elegant dignity, and on and on one could go. A true San Francisco heroine whose contribution, often behind the scenes, surely warrent the flags to lower in her honor. Thank you Edith for your diligent and unswerving committment, for your children and poetry, for the wide net of your generosity, and for your inspiring model of a devoted, sexy, yet ever political, loving marriage with Dave. much love and miss, debbie gordon
