CANTERBURY – Edith (Banks) Kinsey, 95, was born and grew up in Bethlehem, Connecticut. After high school she worked in the office of the Waterbury Corrugated Container Co., where she met her future husband, John P. Kinsey. At the at of 41, Edith enrolled in a two-year college program at the Torrington Branch of the University of Connecticut and graduated the following year at the top of her class. In 1963, John and Edith moved into the Cpt. John Clarke house in Canterbury, Connecticut, where they lived the balance of their lives. With the children grown, Edith volunteered as a candy striper in the X-ray department of Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam.
