Condolances to the Mackes family. Aunt Edith had a wonderful smile I will always remember. Virginia Engler Buskirk

Mackes family I am so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. She was a wonderful woman. My mother and she worked together. God bless you all.

My condolences to the Engler family. I always enjoyed her visits here to the farm to see Marlyn. You could just sit and visit with her for hours.

Our condolences to the Mackes family. Aunt Edith was a lady with strong convictions. Conversations with her at the Plainfield diner were, "direct as well as informative". She leaves us as the Elder States Person of the Engler family. Go in peace Edith. Stan and Janet Engler.

My condolences to family and friends of Edith Mackes. She was a strong Engler woman like her sisters. I remember playing dominos on the living room floor of her home on Engler Road while my mom, her sister Kathryn, visited in the kitchen. They talked and laughed together all morning. They both had the same wonderful laugh! I can still hear and visualize them today! Wishing many good memories to all family and friends of my Aunt Edith!

My condolences on the passing of my Aunt Edith. She was a strong Engler woman like her sisters. I remember playing dominos in the living room of her home on Engler Road while my mom and she visited in the kitchen, talking and laughing together. They both had the same wonderful, authentic laugh! It´s a good memory and I hope for many good memories of Edith to all of her friends and family.
