Edith D. Mattenson

To the Mattenson Family:

We live on Oak Street in Peppertree, just behind Cypress Court. We just knew her as Edy. Often she'd be walking the dog around the block, often crossing Oak St. to meander into Eagle Park. Last summer we'd see her with Sal strolling down the sidewalk. We'd often stop to talk, sometimes about politics (we had some political signs in our front yard) or maybe gardening -- Edy would like to comment on our recent additions to our flower beds. Dear Mattensen Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy at this time of grief at the loss of your beloved Mother. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Edy was certainly a woman of strength and courage in the face of her many challenges. Dear Mattenson family, I was sorry to read about the passing of your mother. I enjoyed being with her and your father on many occasions when I was married to David. Both of your parents were very nice people and I'm sure they will be greatly missed.
